My Mom and Dad and I just got four brand new mats from 4th Gear Flyer (fourthgearflyer@yahoo.com) and are super stoked. So, if anyone out there wants 4GF surfmats, now you know where to go. 4th Gear Flyers cost $250 and ship immediately. New diamond back deck treatment provides ideal grip. The soft and pliable traction pads make shifting around easy, yet also provide excellent purchase to remain planted when necessary. Spacing between the pads allows the mat to flex naturally. I find that diamond back is definitely comfortable enough to ride in boardshorts. (A huge plus for me, as I love surfing bareback.) As soon as I get action shots I'll post them. For now though, at least you can see the latest 4GF!
