Really enjoyed that NZ article! I've gotta step up and make the blog more eclectic. The Maori are amazing people. Mum and Dad and our film crew and I attended a powhiri just for us on a TV project. It was spiritual enough to make one's hair stand up. Very beautiful and powerful.

For sure! I have felt that tingle during marae visits when I was teaching in NZ. The experience must have been resonating with my extremely diluted Maori genes. I just found out that there are photos of great-great-grandparents hanging in a marae near Raglan which I plan to visit.
