Paul....curious about your take on this.....as I know you
shaped some Simmons inspired boards in 2003...and wrote about Simmons in articles you penned during your stint as editor of Surfing Magazine in the 70's.

Hi Proneman. The post is signed by Jamie, not Paul, and the title of the vid is "This is not what you think it is," or something close to that. Cool little movie, I must say. We had a Simmons concave twinfin at our house that got cut down into a shortboard in about 1970. It was pretty amazing in it's dinged up original form. Kicked nose, tunnel concave, low aft rails, half-moon fins, wide squashtail, ancient fiberglass... Nothing like any of the other relics from the postwar period! Huge respect for Bob's genius.
