The Vespa arrived late yesterday afternoon, thank you so much! We are really stoked.
We took it out this morning in some fun 2-3 foot tapered fast walls and shore break at Ocean Beach.
Steve rode the Tracker RT and I rode the new Vespa RT.
The Vespa tracks on the face nicely and I made some fast sections that I didn't think were possible. . . some loooonggg lefts and some fun rights. It was inconsistent with the little SWesties, so Steve decided he wanted more exercise and he kicked his way out the north T of the OB Pier and all of the way back in to Rip Tide Righties, and ended up with another 8-10 bitch'n rights all the way to the pier. Not bad!
In the meantime, I took off on this really fast left with a boogie boarder friend, and he was behind chasing, trying to catch up, but he couldn't. Haha, and made mention of the chase.
Here is a photo of Steve with our 4GF Fatty and a 4GF from 1985 that's still going strong!

The arrival of the Vespa RT!

The unboxing of the Vespa RT!

Thank you, Paul for your beautifully detailed work and for personalizing the mat for us. Notice that the mat on top is the Tracker RT that Steve has been riding since July, and the inscription has washed away. So much fun! Hardy Hardy Har Har, Steve says. We appreciate the mats very much. . .

Love and Aloha, Cher and Steve
Cowa-flexit!
