Jamie just informed me that they're not brothers. I thought they said they were. Well, even if they weren't biologically related, one could tell they're good friends who share a love of the water. They even switched surf craft at one point during the session. (Then I really got confused because I never saw the switch and tried to resume a conversation with the wrong guy!)
We were all there for Mike Blacks pig luau (which celebrated pig-shaped surfboards). As it turned out, two of us rode mats. I rode a board as well, but I started and ended my time in the water on my mat.
I was going to point out the if they were indeed brothers, the guy on the mat would have intentionally "T-Boned" his sibling without hesitation. I have an older brother and three boys so trust me on this...
I met these two brothers (Andrew and Mark) while in the water yesterday at San O. They were so much fun!! This picture epitomizes their stoke.
