Cher And Steve On The Road!
Dear Paul,
Here is a precious photo that was captured by Erin Prowoko, a photographer friend from New England. Some friends call Steve "Mat Masterson," and I was swimming with fins, that afternoon, mermaid style. This photo was taken in Short Sands beach, in York, Maine.
Steve and I were on the East Coast because we were invited to the Grain Surf Re-Evolution, in York, Maine. We had never been to Maine before, so this was a wonderful adventure for us.
The below shots are all of the same spot in Rhode Island, and are the swell from Hurricane Leslie. We were in New England for 5 days and surfed 4 of them! The photos overall show the speed and maneuverability that he was enjoying.
We hope that you are and Gloria having a nice weekend.
Aloha,
Cher and Steve

Mahalo Paul.
We want to thank our dear friends Roger and Lisa Beal for hosting us in New England, our friend PMK for all the smiles, and the kind folks at Grain for inviting us all. Warm Aloha, Cher and Steve
A great set of photos thanks for sharing. That first one takes the cake!
Thank you Bruce! Erin has an amazing talent (and eye) to capture the moment! Aloha, Cher
Is there anything better than the magic of a spot having its day (or 4) on the few days that you're actually there?
:-)
I surfed an amazing Breton reef with just two locals a couple of years ago. Head high peeling glass. I asked "is it always like this?!"
"Non..."
