Much to my surprise, the Space Shuttle flew over my house while I was in the backyard! I'd been lamenting the fact that I had to pick up Carter at school, thus preventing me from waiting for it along the coast (like everyone else did).
Well, wasn't I surprised when I happened to be in the backyard and it flew right over!! It was truly awesome. I immediately let out a scream of joy and threw my hands up. That's the same thing I do when the dolphins breech. I haven't seen anything that wonderful in a long, long time. What a great day.

The space shuttle was simply the icing on the cake. My day began with a mat session on the best mat I've ever ridden. That thing can handle any wave one throws at it.
First, a mat session. Then, the space shuttle. It was a wonderful day.
