In this episode, Johnny of "Squad 51" (presumably not named after the infamous Area 51) makes the critical decision to employ air mats to make a mountain rescue. Smart lad!
"Emergency" can be worth watching for the views of So. Cal. in the 70s and 80s, including glimpses of the beaches. Actually, that applies to almost all of the Universal and Mark VII productions from those eras -- "Adam-12," "Dragnet," "Knight Rider," etc.

exactly! iwas into the first three you mentioned. knight rider was a little later on and i was doing other stuff.
