Alder Burn Fin Sox...

We've been thinking about getting Alder Burns fin sox sent over here. They are a UK based company.

My initial motivation was for personal use...but Graeme has pointed out if he sends over a batch, we can save on shipping. And, people here might like them.

I'm currently using 3mm O'neil Ninja's...kind of cold and leaky, but solid bottoms. The AB sox are said to be less durable, but are warmer. Some matters have added Vulkum to the bottoms to toughen them up for the rock dance. 4mm thickness sounds really comfy!

My thought was to just flip them to U.S. matters at-cost...not a for profit idea.

Some UKMS links...

The Alder socks are the best I've ever used, none else are even close. I bought myself two more pair this winter even though my first pair are still in good shape.

Get the 4mm. Lined nicely with a red microfleece type material. They fit my feet perfect, perfect inside my UDT's and are very very warm.

The bottom sole is pretty durable as well, have not worn holes in them yet. They have a thin rubberized texture, kinda similar to vulkem actually. once i start to wear them thin I will probably recoat with vulkem. get yourself a couple pair, well worth it!

Just picked up som H20 odyssey socks but they ended up being a size too small...

Il take a pair of the Alder socks in their largest size unless someone has them and thinks them too small?
