Funny thing about chopstick recycling....for months I saved my old chopsticks from where I ate Japanese food for lunch in Fullerton. I noticed they were perfectly quartersawn spruce of some kind. I thought I'd use them for bracing in making ukuleles. For a while I'd been salvaging old potential tonewood from everywhere I could find it. You'd be surprised at what people toss into the dumpster!
