I'd love to get an extended period of time in consistent surf with 5 or 6 other dedicated mat riders. I learn a lot by observing others. I bet that a month-long deep seminar in 4-6 foot surf would do wonders for the art.
Related to that, I'd love to put together a 30-minute surfmat movie, the documentary slice of our time.
I would like to be able to ride my mat in L.A. County without having to worry about the lifeguards kicking me out of the water. Oh, and an uncrowded pointbreak with only a few other mat riders in the water (and no surfers!!) would be nice too!
