On the website there's some interesting reviews with candid dialogue between the inventor and people trying them in the surf. Users have criticisms that I'd expect (they're slower than fins... hard to attach... they twist around, etc.). Just for walking over rocks they're a great idea, and it seems they eliminate calf cramps (which I get and signal the beginning of the end of my sessions). Some of the reviewers *needed* a traditional fin alternative (an amputation, for one). Looks like a work in progress....
