Someone has a beef with surfmats!
Peter Steynberg sent me the image from Hawaii. He lives in Hilo now, but used to own the Steynberg Gallery in SLO. He is one of my surfmat recruits and you made a mat for him. He is ocean swimming daily and enjoying retirement.

I loved the Steynberg Gallery, a great addition to the culture of SLO. Wish him Happy Retirement and some good waves on the Big Island if he looks for them.
Re: that sticker... was informed by the fellow who did the "Born 2 Lose" blog that...
"This was in response to a NYC restriction on inflatables in the lineup that made it illegal to ride a surfmat in NYC for a bit, not necessarily a cultural comment, if I am correctly informed".
