I have just come off a 3 day weekend, with Friday near flat, Saturday had a increase to 2-3ft and this morning was BOOM...we finally got some decent swell and a early offshore wind to go with it.

I have attached some vision from the past couple of surfs, with myself just loving the Standard, which I can ride at a lot lower inflation compared to the Lotus. There is a nice sequence of shot's of Paul surfing his Omni.

Baja Quiver From Paul

Hi Paul,

2 mats (Standard and Vespa), fins, handplane.....all with everything else in my carry on.

Met a guy from Santa Barbara on a Fatty.

Got some really fun ones on the Standard.

Waves were steep and pitchy at times, and the Standard really locked in and flew!

The 80 degree water temp certainly helped.

We are already planning to go back next Thanksgiving.

Beers and fish tacos and warm surf. Good living.

Stoked!

I felt compelled to send you the attached photo I took a few years back. The bottom turning at flank speed on the inside is Scott "Elvis" Kurst, James "Mattitude" Sowell is going a million mph in the middle and Eli Kurst down the line trying in vain to take off. Shot deliciously in color on a very overcast day (can you tell?)
