I have an entourage of specially-trained painted eunuchs for that kind of manual labour.
Under the arm
Now that I run my mats with very little air, I carry mine in my hand (pinched between my fingers).Word verification: eater
Under my right arm, with fins in my right hand too. Left hand free and ready to pick my nose, if needed !
with my severe lack of watertime and surf lately I've taken to carrying my mat friend Lil round the house underarm much to the amusement of all who pass through!!
I have had to think about this one. During the approach part of the transport the mat is folded up and usually under arm. At the shore, where depending on several variables not the least of which is who won the most Grammies (who is Adele btw?) I may or may not don fins but it is certainly at this point that I introduce air into the mat. The mattress is now too full for me to carry anywhere but under arm for the subsequent entry into the surf. Apres surf I go for the hand full of canvas pinch until I can fully deflate my mat. I used to have a nice "bunch of fellows" to handle this part of the process for me ... until Piskian stole them away from me with promises of health care and retirement benefits!
