This is my buddy Steve in South Queensland, Australia. He's blind and charges on a mat!!! So next time anyone thinks they are having a hard time in the water, remember that you're blessed to even be able to see the waves!

As I've aged and my prowess has diminished, my sense of easy gratitude has grown accordingly. It's a gift to be able to bob around out there and take in the sensations, perhaps to even snag an exciting ride every so often. Every wave is more frosting on the cake : )
