I forgot to tell you that I rode my mat at Topaz (in Redondo Beach) the other day. When I got out of the water, a lifeguard began walking toward me. I just knew he was going to tell me not to come back with a mat, that I'd be put out of the water the next time I tried to ride a mat there.
Wrong.
"What model are you riding?" Huh?
