Thank you for commemorating this. Reminded that one of the things that impressed me about New Zealand is the average Kiwi took their ANZAC Day seriously- large numbers of people getting up at dawn for ceremonies at the war memorial staues that are in the centers of just about every size town. Learned quickly that this was a serious holiday with meaning, not just another day off as it was for me and my friends in the US.
