Besides everything else this beautiful video evokes, it makes me think about the idea of "style" in mat riding. I see definite style in the King's line, as I do in Steiny's form- it's unmistakable- for one. Me too, maybe (I'm a hand draggin' fool), but mat surfing choices always felt intuitive, pure function first and foremost, all in the service of making the meat puppet transport the brain into realms of sensation.
