After I started reading Surfmatters, I grew more isolated and moody. I found myself seeking lonelier surf spots farther afield, and now I’m practically unable to paddle out with the crowd at a popular place. It wasn’t long at all before I was completely maladjusted, and I can honestly say that reading Surfmatters was a leading correlation to my transformation. Thanks, Surfmatters!

It's Dirk at Refugio, then likely Dirk at El Cap!
