​Howdy Paul,

Well we have survived another Australia Day long Weekend, lots of celebration and mayhem for traveling Bogan/Tourist/Holidaymaker...

But for us Local SCUMM, its just another Invasion Weekend , with packed coffee house and small crowded surf . This was our first year without our Mat Man Eric Bridges, pictured here with his wife Faye...

 So we decided to head little further south to hopefully escape the onslaught of people and share a little serenity & laughs...

The surf was not big or pumping, but to stand on the beach, with the sun just popping its head up, and watching a pod of dolphins hunt a school of salmon into the shoreline, it was well worth the early start and drive, to mat surf in crystal clear, clean , unpolluted water, and as Eric would have scream at the top of his lungs ' Ahhhh, the Great Outdoors!"  SCUMM LIFE at its Best!
