I'm a sprinter, 23 Breaths. Some of those guys, like Erik Zabel, can hang pretty tough in the mountains. But the climbers can't hang tough on the flats. Need I say more than Paris-Roubaix?

It is pretty interesting,I think that we have so many references to pro cycling here,a sport which demands competition and a clear winner so much that the participants feel a need to resort to unfair means in order to succeed. An accusation which may not be necessarily applicable to matting.Indeed, the reason why I have taken to matting is the desire to detach myself from the competitive field so pervasive in other watersport media.I also roadbike, just to throw my slowtwitch muscle fibre(Dafin devotee) amongst the fasttwitch UDT Neanderthals!!
Pixie, one of the reasons I stopped racing bikes and following the pros is because the sport is so dirty. I'm no longer a fan, but I don't hesitate to throw out my cycling knowledge every so often.

The roundtail fins are very intriguing!
Where did you find them on the site?

the kicks are the most comfortable fins i've ever owned.
nice and light, nimble, and no foot cramps!
How's the power of the Kicks compared to other swimfins?
they probably don't have as much power as other bigger fins. but for me the comfort is worth it. they work like a champ for bodysurfing
I agree that power isn't everything. And, sometimes a well designed __________ can outdo a more powerful __________. (Fill in any vehicle.)
Marine-Rescue.com has Da Fin for 50 doléros shipped to your door. be careful with them though, the straps break really easy. their return policy is good (Da Fins site) but what a pain in the arse pullin on fins while its going off and snap! dang its a bummer if you dont have a back up.

(Bike allusion. Sorry, not a mat allusion.)
SurfSister,
That's only true until the tour reaches the mountains!
(or if your name is Lance...)
Sorry for the hijack but I can't wait for the tour this year!!

SurfSister,
Ya gotta go with the type of muscle twitch fiber the good lord gave ya!
Zibel, McEwen, O'Grady all greats!
Paris-Roubaix is a cobble stones, puddles and rain mud-fest.
Hell of the North indeed!
Oh yea, nice fins!
